Best KI Stream Out There

I don’t play Killer Instinct and I don’t own a PS4, but go check out the KI stream from PaulB over at Twitch.tv. It’s a great crowd to chat with and the game is awesome to watch. Plus you get to watch Paul break down the game with surgical precision. Much of his analysis and advice applies to any video game genre, never mind the fact that a lot of it s relevant to self-help in general. You get to watch him take Sabrewulf to a new level!



7 Reasons I Stopped Playing Minecraft

A few weeks back a big announcement swept the gaming community. It was an announcement I feared for some time: Minecraft was sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion. It isn’t earth-shattering, but it’s big news if you’re familiar with the parties involved. And as someone who has spent decades using Microsoft’s products, and dozens of hours (hundreds?) playing Minecraft, I feel like I’m familiar. With a community of millions of players, and the attention of an audience that ranges from age zero and up, it seems like nothing can stop this game from going on as far as its world does. Or will it?

Top 5 Reasons Minecraft is the Best PC Game Ever

Everyone knows Minecraft at this point. Everyone has tried it and you either love it or you don’t see the point at all. I’m one of the former. This game has me hooked for some reason, and when I tried to figure out why, it took me a while. What’s so fun about a game with no plot, no characters, no specific enemies, and only one level? This is the list of reasons I came up with.

The Good Kind of Pandemic

There is no good kind of pandemic. At least there isn’t if you’re referring to disease. If you’re referring ti fun, then there are a couple of very good kinds of Pandemic; the first being the video game developer named Pandemic Studios, the second being the board game Pandemic. While I love the work of the former, I write today to sing the praises of the latter.
